The new student Council has been elected by pupils in P4 to P7.  They meet every two weeks and consider suggestions made by their classmates.

In the past Student Council suggestions have resulted in fresh, filtered and chilled drinking water being available to all pupils, a Healthy Break programme in school, increased playground activities, school discos.

The Student Council, seen here busy discussing their next ideas, have suggested and achieved racks for storing bikes and a suggestion box for parents. Each classroom has a suggestion box but the Council felt that Parents will have good ideas for developing the school and may wish to make suggestions.  The box, and suggestion slips, are placed just inside the main pupil entrance off the playground.
