Curriculum

In Carrick Primary School we follow the Northern Ireland Curriculum as laid down by law

There are three phases within primary education

        The Foundation Stage:    for pupils in Years 1 and 2

        Key Stage 1:                     for pupils in Years 3 and 4

        Key Stage 2:                     for pupils in Years 5, 6 and 7

The Northern Ireland Curriculum aims to empower young people to achieve their potential and to make informed and responsible decisions throughout their lives.
